welcome one, welcome all!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visitng my blog.  Whether you're a family member checking in or a friend wondering where on Earth I am, I hope you enjoy it.  I appreciate you taking the time to read about my traveling shenanigans.

Now even though I love the idea and convenience of blogging and updating yall on my whereabouts with this thing... I think it's pretty funny I even have one.  So please bare with me as I figure it out and attempt to describe my experiences along the road.  And for those of you who know me best, you know I am terrible at all things electronic, technological or timely.  I'm attempting to break the mold I have set for myself and will update much more often than I have in the past.  This I promise. (Stop calling my bluff, Woody)

While I constantly feel like words are failing me, as I fail them, I will do my best to fight through my inability to articulate myself as I take you along with me for the ride.  To avoid even attempting to rewrite or sufficiently explain one of my inspirations for going on this adventure, I'll take from one of the late greats and my personal favorites, Thoreau.  He once said,

"We do not commonly live our life out and full, we do not fill all our pores with blood; we do not inspire and expire fully and entirely enough... We live but a fraction of our life.  Why do we not let on the flood, raise the gates, and set all our wheels in motion?"

Well asked, Thoreau.  So here I am, doing what I personally believe is living life out and full, for me.    Armed with the amazing support and wisdom from my family and friends, I'm propelled forward in motion. Now let's see what happens.
